Maserati Showroom Grand Opening

Inside Maserati’s new Florence showroom: Kaleydo’s lighting design and visual solutions transform the space into a museum-like stage for a century of Italian automotive craftsmanship.

Maserati Showroom Grand Opening

Maserati’s new Florence showroom opened with a private event by Car Village. Kaleydo managed all technical aspects, including audio, lighting, visual components, and set design solutions that reflected the brand’s identity: the Trident, made in Italy, with a century of heritage.

An event that celebrated elegance, performance, and a passion for Italian design. The showroom is conceived as a museum, with a small number of cars given prominence through dedicated LED lighting systems, almost turning them into works of art on display. [E. Weltert on automoto.it]

The lighting design highlighted the cars’ lines, reflections, and volumes, creating a refined and immersive atmosphere inspired by major museums.

In addition to lighting, visual elements strengthened the brand’s presence in guest areas. The Maserati logo, projected onto interior surfaces and perimeter paneling in the brand’s colours, along with videos streamed on LED walls, ensured visual continuity between exterior and interior spaces.

Achieving a successful product launch like this one requires the same meticulous approach that Maserati applies to engineering its cars. [Kaleydo Event Manager]

Elisa Weltert, Maserati General Manager for Southern Europe, and Antonio Catania, President and CEO of Car Village, later described the showroom as an exhibition of works of art.

The technical design was conceived to surprise guests while celebrating the Maserati brand. The showroom will be open to the public following the Grand Opening.

The presence of a brand like Maserati also helps raise the profile of the local automotive district, with a significant share of high-end clientele. The outlook is encouraging, with potential to develop exclusive events focused on luxury mobility. [A. Catania on automoto.it]

An international DJ from Kaleydo’s roster performed during the welcome reception, providing a tailored playlist for sales and networking. The custom-built DJ booth, featuring the Maserati trident, added a distinctive visual element.

Christmas Lights

Christmas takes on a distinct spirit in every place, calling for a design that feels personal and inspired. Kaleydo has brought festive magic to a wide range of settings, from sleek modern hotels to storied medieval villages and elegant period villas. For each project, we let the architecture guide us, shaping the lighting to achieve a site-specific solution. Planning and coordination start well before the holiday season to guarantee smooth, timely and precise installations.  We begin each project with site inspections, where we map the location area with photos and aerial shootings with drones. Walking through the site, we take

A Wedding of Colours

Three days, over 250 guests, one Tuscan village: Kaleydo delivered set design and technical production for a Bianco Bouquet Indian wedding at Il Borro. We customized staging and decor for each celebration, including lunches, dinners, welcome drinks, cocktail parties, gala events, haldi, baraat, and sangeet. [Kaleydo Event Manager] The event took place in a medieval village featuring stone walls, vineyards, olive groves, and over 1,100 hectares of open space. Entertainment was central to the event, with string quartets, singers, DJs, musicians, and bands performing across multiple indoor and outdoor stages. Each area featured dedicated sound systems and tailored audio, video,

Night Party in a Marble Quarry

An open-air party set among the marble quarries in the heart of the Apuan Alps, where thoughtful design elements guided guests from the welcome cocktail at sunset to the end of the party. A wonderful natural backdrop, yet a challenging location for an event setup. Logistics, powering tools, and all equipment, lighting… it was like working on a movie set. [Kaleydo Event Manager] These remarkable settings are more than a backdrop. They can become the starting point for evocative events, whether corporate or private, turning unexpected locations into experiences people feel, remember and care about. Behind that atmosphere was a

Rothko in Florence: Grand Opening Nights

For the Rothko in Florence launch, Kaleydo delivered audio and lighting services for all key events of the Grand Opening Nights, including the inaugural dinner and an exclusive cocktail party with Christopher Rothko, the artist’s son and co-curator of the Mark Rothko exhibition. I think that color, aided by light, enters into a relationship with the soul, bringing about unexpected emotional consequences. [M. Rothko] The lighting for the inauguration was inspired by Rothko’s color palette, creating visual continuity between the artworks and the reception areas. Within this subtle dialogue between light, space and perception, Kaleydo’s contribution takes shape: a project conceived
